  • Medical history review and review of symptoms
  • Physical examination
  • Blood test panels
  • Imaging studies (abdominal ultrasound, CT scan, MRI scan)
  • Liver biopsy

Common Treatment:

There is currently no specific therapies for NASH. Recommendations may include:
  • Reduce weight
  • Follow a balanced and healthy diet
  • Increase physical activity
  • Avoid alcohol
  • Avoid unnecessary medications
